Mise-en-Scene in Ferris Bueller

The Mise-en-Scene from this scene in  from Ferris Bueller can be devised in to 2 parts. Setting and costume.
Setting
The setting in this scene is in a modern art museum contain different pieces of art witch all 3 members of the group can connect with in different ways. Cameron finds a piece of art witch contains a lonely child interesting, this may be because he is an only child who struggles with social skills. To remind us that the tree kids are missing school this scene opens with a teacher leading school kids threw one of the exhibits in  a line.

Costume
The costumes in this scene are very different for each characters. Firstly the costumes are very unique because this film was based in the 80s. Ferris is the leader of the group so is wearing cloths that would reinforce that. For example he has a huge leather jacket on, this was because he was driving a Ferrari and wanted to look older, ore it could just be that he feels that him wearing a leather jacket just looks cool. Cameron is wearing what some people would call dad trousers and a his local teams jersey. Cameron throughout the movie has been the most responsible in the group this is why he may be wearing these trousers. On the other hand he has a Football shirt on, this may be because the director wanted the audience to still feel he is a child even though he is a very responsible young man. Sloane is Ferris girlfriend and is a year younger then him, but she where's cloths that older girls would comely where. She may feel the need to look older because she has an older boyfriend. She also wheres a considerable amount of makeup for a girl of her age.
