or comic but is vaguely based on real life events from ww2.

Is the director well known? Does he/she have a particular style ore work with particular actors- The director David Ayer has direct many movies in the last 17 years such as: Gotham city sirens; The fast and the furies in 2001; S.W.A.T in 2003; Street kings in 2008; Fury in 2014; Suicide squad in 2016 and finally Bright in 2017. Also the vast majority of his movies have been action movies with simplistic plots so the viewer stays engaged with the movie.

Reviews
How has the film been received- It has mixed reviews
What has been written about the film- “What a poor film. Whilst some of the action was OK it is a shame to see a 21st century WW2 film pedalling the same old inaccuracies. Repeated German AT crews could not hit a barn door at 40 paces and apparently logs on the side of a Sherman would stop an 88mm from penetrating. And only an idiot would send unsupported tanks to hold ground and only Hollywood would have German soldiers be unable to stalk armour. What nonsense. And one of the final scenes has a German lift the hatch only to get shot before the pfennig drops and they chucked in a couple of grenades. If you do a war film do it right”.

When was it set- Fury was set in 1945 in the heat of ww2
Where was it set- The movie was set in occupied Nazi Germany
Does the film relate to a real life event- Fury is based in ww2 when the Americans were pushing the Germans further and further in to occupied Nazi Germany and follows a tank called ‘Fury’. The tank ‘fury’ was not a real ww2 tank name but the ‘first battalion’ which the tank fury was in is a real ww2 tank patrol.
Does it reflect the political mood of the time- no not really
Does the film deal with social, cultural or political issues- it deals with war which deals with social and political issues.

This was the trailer for the film back in 2014. I could only find the American trailer but it is very similar to the British one.
