This is our story board from the movie the gold rush. we also made a short video from our story board. This is our finished gold rush video   Reflecting on the making of this video I would have done a few things differently. Firstly my group had a lack pf actors so we had to use Raygen and Beth from our group as our main two actors. Secondly I feel the filming was very rushed and due to the lack of footage the final video was not the best it cold have been. I feel our main actor Raygen did a very good job performing like he did as we asked him last minuet.

Mise-en-scene Setting  The setting for this image is inside a prison. This is really shown by the use of a huge fence around the men in the image, reinforcing the fact that it is a prison and the people in the image cant leave. Also in the scene the two main character appear to be siting on an old warn down bench, which looks like it use to be green but due to over use is not anymore. The ground in the prison looks well warn down. It looks like is ones was a sooth but now is a muddy pit. Costume   The costumes in the Shawshank Redemption are very simplistic and bland because the characters in the movie are prisoners and have been given old used cloths to where. Nearly every one in this image is either wearing a brown ore grey shirt with blue jeans, some of the men are also wearing hats which are also brown and grey. All the prisoners are also wearing black shoes.

This image shows  the Mise-En-Scene because you can see all of the elements clearly. The setting is very clear, even though it's blurred in some areas, its obvious the image is taken in a library. The character has a lot of there face covered but the you can tell what they are feeling because of the expression in there eyes. The  the scene are mostly dark although there are areas which are seem colourful. A problem with the image is that the costume is not  visible which  hides important details about the character from the audience.

Evaluation Our group consisted of  Ben Wilkinson (myself), Bethany Ethridge, Sam Carnie and Tom O'Neil, Raygen Saunders-Johnson. The members of this group worked very well as a team, getting all of the job roles allocated easily so that more time can be spent on filming, editing and evaluating. Raygen was the producer, I was the co-producer, Bethany was the director, Sam Carnie and Tom O'Neil were the editors. Admittedly, the group did not manage time efficiently and effectively - but that is something that can be improved over time as we practise and elaborate the skills further. The overall teamwork aspect of the project was very well handled and the productivity showed this. Despite this, the project outcome was not the best we could have performed. This is because the final cut was our first attempt at the editing process. Because of this, the group plans to watch many videos and tutorials on Youtube.com to assist the editing process next time. However, the group met the
